You've done a really great job with all of the warriors of the dead. The addition of those few extra details in the sculpting and painting has really gone a long way.

You have my sympathy in your lost. I shall keep you in my prayers, may the Lord bless and comfort you in your grief and as continue with your work.

I'd just like to reiterate Steve's (Onyx's) thoughts. I think a lot of us take these type of jobs for granted and don't really appreciate the real danger that you guys put yourself into. Condolences mate.

Feeling kinda low today fella's. Lost two of my colleagues in a fire last night in a high rise just 1 mile from my house. I really feel for their wives and young children. T'is a sad day for the fire service. :(

My deepest condolences to you and for their families and all of your crew. I have nothing but respect for the members of all of the blue light services.

Thankyou to all for the kind condolences. It is much appreciated. :)
Anyhow, I've finally managed to get the rest of these chaps done. To be honest I have kinda rushed them through just to get them off the WIP table.

Riders of the dead:

In full SBG mode, leaving the mountains:

So thats both riders, 20 foot metals, 20 foot plastics all individually posed.
I have more riders planned, which will involve heavy conversions, but they are not a priority at the moment. I'm just relieved to get them checked off.

Very nice spooks (somehow the colour scheme puts me in mind of the Gaviscon firemen  )
I like AotD. They have spirit (worst Pun of The Week, eh?)

Very nice job Dave! Love the poses! You shoulds say you rushed all over it, none could see anyway, great job as usual! (and I know the feeling of rushing over to get rid off them.. heh...)

I just can't image it be very comfortable sleeping in a bed under a hill full of dead ones! Sweet dreams though!

Nice scenery :)

Had the paints out last week which is the first time in six months.

I repainted my Sauron because the old paint job was too silvery. I've dirtied him up a bit with a wash before re-highlighting:

I also did the Tainted ringwraith:

Then a simple paint job on a Shade I got cheap from ebay because the outstretched arm was missing. One of the perks from being reasonably adept at sculpting is that I can pick up stuff like this and 'fix' it, so I get some bargains. Here it is complete with new arm.

I also fixed this metal Balrog. The whip arm was completely missing from shoulder to wrist so I sculpted a new one over a bit of wire. Not bad for less than a tenner:

At the moment I am painting the Dark Marshal, which I have also had to fix. Will post pics once it is finished.
