One nice thing about it is that it doesnt have the stupic huge flail anymore.

Thank goodness. So in just that single detail it is a better model already. Sort of...

The paint job isn't good, and frankly I'm a little TOed that they haven't given us full body shots (Hopefully someone will get that reference :) ). But in the end what really determines if I'll buy it is the price.

thats the happiest looking fellbeast i've seen. don't know if its just a dodgy angle but it looks like it's grinning and ruins the picture.

what i assume is a doombull looks interesting though

Oh, come on, it doesn't look that bad.

Certainly not the best painting i've seen the 'eavy metal team do, though. The extreme highlights on the tongue and cloth are too sharp. But, it's the mini I'm mainly interested in, not the way GW paints it.

It could be better, but I like it. 8)

Do we know it was done by the 'Eavy Metal guys? I'm scouring the interweb for an application form if it was ;)

And yes, the head looks goofy. I'm assuming (and hoping) that this is just one of three head options, this being the "armoured" option.

Send me the link for the application form too.

I'm assuming it was done by the 'eavy metal team. Just guessing though.

Hahahah the miniature itself looks ok, but the highlights on the with-king himself look horrible. Even I could do a better job at that.

I highly doubt that was painted by the eavy' metal team, Anduril. Its just such a terrible paintjob. :o

I agree that the head looks strange, but as Lord Hurin suggested it's more then likely only one of three variants.

I've already got a painted witch-king with a fellbeast so i hope the other two heads look better °-°
I aso hope that you can convert it a little more easy than the last one...my friend gave it a try but it halfways ruined his mini (hes not a newbie :P )
its great that you have a lot of heads but what are they good for if you always have a random body
so i hope for the best :)

Is it me or is the fell beast smiling?
It looks very pleased with itself, almost happy- not what you would really associate with a creature of darkness

It reminds me of a certain Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, what with the row of teeth.

Time to buy a plastic fell beast then or 4 or 5 or 6.......

I think its just the angle of the pciture that makes it look not so good in some peoples eyes, but that mouth does make it look like a dog after a long run in the heat.

However, I am looking forward to this. GW may get some of my Birthday and christmas money after all.

Yeah, not the greatest paint job but I'm looking forward to seeing a full 360 view of it and the sprues themselves for the extra parts for conversions before making any judgement.
