Try the Lord of the Rings Apoc thread...

Still, it's nice to have them together.

:P

Why not just edit the title and collate ALL the WotR Images here, saves lots of reading?

Just edited title. Cheers gaarew :)
it is quite easier with all the new stuff in one thread I guess.
It allows fools like me to realise what has been posted already

Nice to see them together and painted. I am not 100% sold on the mounted Galadrim - the horse armour looks impractical though I can understand that the designers were trying to mimic the warriors armour.

Went right off the first guy now. Looks plastic.

The Goblin is all kinds of cool.

AotD. 1st one is an old metal model. Like a few, not nearly enough chainmail though.

Now THIS is the quality GW should've always been making!

Every single model is brilliant. Something wrong with the horseman, but I don't really know what.

Always nice to have new goblins, and although it's a little...meh the bats are strange, but I like the model.

And my brother's going to freak out once he sees amdur lord of blades.
He always liked easterlings and haradrim.

Good job on all of them so far. :yay:

Cheers GW, credit should be given when they deserve it.

Amdur looks like a slightly converted plastic easterling. I've seen our own BotWT pull off better stuff than that. The goblin would look cool if not for those silly stuck-together bats. The army of the dead looks promising enough though.

Does anyone know if Druzhag is a new magic type character or another shaman model? Thanks

I like the easterling, though the crest needs pared down a bit. Oooh, another conversion project for theOneRider!

And, IMO, the silly bats with Druzhag nonetheless look much better than the "Gigant Bat Swarm" from FotN. I might get it and just build them separate.

They had the nerve to put the plastics next to the metals...

no sign of anything other than the plastic archers though.

These models show something of a return to form for GW after the poor showings in recent years. Great to see.

Although I will have to buy up big on the metal versions if they are heading off our shelves soon.

Why the ouch? They could be saved I guess it would be a case of sanding the scale mail of the plastic versions down a little. The new paint-job is still really pants though.

Thanks for posting the new pics!!!!
I like the Galadhrim archers, the strained expressions are a nice touch.
Not crazy about the mounted archer, though. Not so much with the rider as the armor on the horse. It looks like it ran through a window that had mini-blinds in it :?
Army of the Dead, I like. These could be real fun to paint. A challenge in subtely.
Amdur, Lord of Blades...of course I'll get him, GofRuhn He's OK, not spectactular.
Goblin, Druzhag, ummmm, maybe.
