What is the name of the Spire beside Mount Agrond in the land of Mordor?[/b]

Erm, is this another trick question ?

There is no Mount Agrond in Mordor, or any other place in Middle-earth (that I know of).
I looked up a map of Mordor on Google, and this backed up my thoughts.

Is your reference from the Books or the Films, or is it some made up stuff from an LOTR Game etc ?

Hmm... Are you refering to Barad-dûr? It is refered as a pinnacle of iron or something like that.

I have no idea what mount Agrond is though. Some of the mountains around?

Hmmm, thats odd. In the LOTR Mordor Sourcebook there is a map of Mordor, and in the east of Mordor, it says Mount Agrond and beside it the _______ spire. If any of you have the Mordor Sourcebook, its on page Five.

Since you dont have the map, shall I ask another question?

Ok, my question is this.

Mordor is ringed by mountains on three sides.

Name the northern and southern moutains, and their meanings.

I guess what your looking for is the name and meaning of the Northern and Southern 'Range' of Mountains, as their are no sole mountains other than Orodruin in Morder (Yes, I am just being a smart [word deleted]).

Ered Lithui, Northern Mountain Range, meaning = The Ash Mountains.

I think the other you are looking for is Ephel Dúath, which really is the Western defence, but wraps around into the South, also known as The Mountains of Shadow.
