A lot of entries, and a tough decision, but I went for Ardboe's in the end. I always liked the style of it from when I first saw it. I like the base too. |

All very lovely I must say, but I'm torn between Laurapalmer's Theoden and Damian's Witch King. Very tough decision... |

That's quite the number of entries! Wow. Where to start? So far its between Damian's Witch-King, warhammergamingnl's Arwen, Legolas31's Eomer, Laurapalmer's Theoden, and Ardboe's Eomer. Very tough decision. Hmm................... |

Alot of these models are excellent and were so hard to choose between; but in the end I went with my gut and felt that Ardboe's Eomer was the one that I had to go for. Well done all and look forward to seeing next month's submissions!! |

So many cool entries! I voted warhammergamingnl's Arwen due to the brilliant idea and finish. Special mention to Valpas' Gil-Galad I think that would've taken it out had it been eligible. Also great conversions by Chris GoM and Legolas31! Laurapalmers Theoden is fantastic painting and photography also. Hopefully just as many taking part in next months one, it's awesome to see all the entries and provides alot of motivation and inspiration for painting. |

I found this to be typically tough to call as there are several that were of similarly top quality painting but also because some of the images were not so clear. Guys, please get the best lit, best focussed images you possibly can so we can all make the fairest possible judgment based on being able to see the mini clearly. If your phone or camera is not able to get in close enough, check with relatives or friends who could spend a few minutes getting you the images and you can copy the files to your own computer and go from there. Well done to everyone for some very nicely painted and based minis! |

I'm going to place my vote on Legolas31's Eomer, since that's the best painting I've seen from him. Love the excellent conversion too. Nice work everyone. You've made another voting thread more difficult than it should be. |

I went for Damian's which king because of the great source lighting |

Yet again I am torn. Every entry has something really good about it, either smooth, accurate painting, great colours, really fiddly detailing, ambitious conversions, imaginative thinking, painting progression from previous challenges or a combination of all of them. |

I would call it a draw between Laurapalmer and MMS if possible, but since I'm forced to choose one I'll go with the new kid on the block since it's the same great stuff that is expected from Minimal Monkey. There's one thing I'm disliking from Damian's great work and I have considered him up there as well to vote for, but I can't tell if the orange gleem on the face of the horse and on the sword is from highlighting or a reflection of an external light source because his white background is giving off a orange hue reflectio0n as well. |

It's external, you spotted it correctly from the background. It's also one of the reasons I included a shot from the front, it shows the true colour of the horse's headgear. More specifically it's my GF's table lamp. It was the only light source I had available that was a similar brightness to my painting lamp. Unfortunately the orange light is a bit strong, but I've got alternative lights for next time. Mwaaa ha ha ha haaaa |

Ah you're tricky, still very good job nonetheless. I would have found it weird having a model on a table top game having an orange gleem on it if it's not part of some diorama or it doesn't have some fire source to allow it like the Aragorn Weathertop model does. |

I voted Gothmogthewerewolf's Beruthiel, simply great painting job. Though MMS, Ardboe, Bilboofthewhitetower and laurapalmer (among others) were very, very close runner-ups. |

Green_Dragon's Witch-King is awesome and got my vote. It was a tough one though as I also wanted to vote for LauraPalmer's Theoden. |
