UKFB, you entering is just cheating. You have my vote.

All the others, great sculpts too! Really nice to see so many people being so good at something.

personally I think everyone's work was outstanding but i voted bizarewarstar
as I really dig the versatile look of that gobo and all the little touches like scavenged weapons and what not.

I love all of them :-D

I will vote later, when I am capable of narrowing it down.

All the entries are very good and well executed. I only get one vote though and that goes to Silverhand. Purely because annoyingly he can make figures out of fimo and I can't. Horrible stuff for this scale in my opinion!

This was almost impossible to choose but I decided to go with RidersoftheMark. UKFred gets my honorable mention.

The fact that Riders goblin is so small and in a crouched position it is amazing that he managed that level of detail with Green Stuff.

Congrats to all

Ach! soo many great entries these days!
In the end my vote had to go to Dave.
I also really really liked Feanor's (and I'm surprised it hasn't got more votes  )

Haha Thank you..i think

Dave you got my vote aswell - i love that sculpt and if you plan on holding out on me and not casting a sneaky copy of it for me then i WILL steal it lol.

Some real talent on show here and i must admit i'm extremely envious of the skills all the entrnts quite obviously have.

Bizzarewarstar - I have been following your work for quite a long time now and am no longer surprised by the quality of your sculpting and paint work alike - it has come to the stage where i know its going to be jaw droppingly good before i see your latest installment. Keep it up buddy!

BlackDeath - Another fantastic talent in both painting and sculpting - Another great sculpt from you although with this particular sculpt i feel that only once it is painted will this model come into its own and really show how good it is. Nice work!

Feanor - I actually really like this sculpt. The head, face and small details like the finger and toenails are extremely well done. Great attention to detail with all the folds in the skin and clothing in exactly the right places - a great eye for sculpting of that i have no doubt.

Grungehog - man you need to get a better camera - Having been following your work on your blog for a while now I know the quality of your work which is fantastic. Its a shame that the pictures here really don't show how good this model is. Off topic maybe but have to say your mumaks are awesome mate!!!

RangerOfTheNorth - A well thought out and well executed conversion my friend. When this guys painted up it won't even look like a conversion at all. Great work, well done.

RidersOfTheMark - The work that has obviously gone into this is astounding. Incredible levels of detail in every single part of the sculpt. Cloth folds all in exactly the right places, astoundingly good face and the woodgrain on the staff is the icing on the cake - exceptional work!

River Zora - The disadvantage of entering multiple models in the challenge which is limited to 5 pictures is we don't get enough closeups of the work involved. The cloaks look very well done indeed but are very distant in the pics. I like the shaman conversion too - looks great. A brave entry as these little guys are quite difficult to work with and convert due to their extremely static poses. Well done mate.

Silverhand - not one but 3 great entries. Obviously one to watch here in future challenges. A great eye for sculpting of which i am incredibly jealous.

and last but not least
Ukfreddybear - nothing about your work surprises me mate as only the very best is expected (no pressure lol) and you say this was rushed ? Looks fantastic in its unpainted state so can only imgine how good this guy will be painted up. I want one - I'm going to steal it from you.

A great set of entries - can't wait to see more from you guys!!!

You'd have to break into a fire station...

Good luck with that!

silverhand, my vote went to you but I have one question:
fimo shrinks and needs baking doesnt it? how can you sculpt other non shrinking things in it?
further than that awesome entries, and my vote almost went to bizzarrewarstar just because your sculpt depicts everything a goblin is.

Hi!

I'm not silverhand, but I also use FIMO. ;-)

YES it needs baking and NO it doesn't shrink. So you can sculpt on it whatever you like!

Tough call, there's some excellent stuff here. For me, though, it's that reposed goblin king - RotN has taken a sculpt I don't like and turned it into something I'd be proud to own, and the pose captures the spirit of the movie character in a way neither the original nor the finecast model do, imo.

Thanks guys, lots of great projects this month, great way to motivate myself to keep trying harder. My only regret is not getting the rest of my pictures up. Started a new job the last week of January and literally could not get to my camera in time.
Cheers!

There are 3 sculpts that stand out for me, and it is a wee bit of a shame that I cannot give some voting nod to each of them. But well done to all of you - I couldn't sculpt to save my own life.

Why do you always make it so hard for us to choose an entry... I was thinking of not voting because I could not decide on a contestant.

Thanks, much appreciated. :) To be fair, especially the last part was a little rushed, just to get hum finished for them comp. Oh well, and least he's done now!
