Welcome to the voting thread for Theoden.

Voting in this challenge should be based not just on painting skill, but also for application of different painting techniques, individual artist improvement, creativity and originality etc.

I went with Buckland's theoden because first, the base is very well done, the pose of the horse and theoden himself is also very well done. Also I am a sucker for NMM, so his sword convinced me that this, in my opinion was the better.

But I really like all of them, very nice to see more entries this month!

I went with cal585's, mainly because I was surprised with how fast he was able to paint it and get it to look that good. I love everyone else's too, and congratulations to whoever wins this.

I voted for MMS's very impressive Theoden but props to cal who pumped out a very nice mini in record time!

Went for BizzareWarstar's Eomer, the armour detail looks amazing and the basing is different/better to what i've seen.

I voted for MMS's Théoden because when I was looking at the entries, my wife was there and she pointed that one as the best. :-)

I might myself have picked BizarreWarstar's Eomer, because I've painted Eomer's armour once myself and couldn't get it anywhere close that fab job. Jobu's and Bart's painting looks great too. Unfortunately cal585's photo is a bit dark and it's hard to see all the details, but I'm sure it would look awesome in daylight!

I went for warstars. They were all great this time around, (like normal) so I took a look at the basing, and I liked what warstar had done with his.

cal585 got my vote because thats how I want mine to look when I get around to painting him. Plus it only took two days. Very impressive.

Haha, thanks, though i tend to paint in spurts anyway so it's not that out of the ordinary for me.

My vote went to MMS's Theoden as it was one of my main references when trying to work out how to paint mine and just looks quite nice.

Yeah, well done to BizzareWarstar. When I saw his finished model I knew I had to raise my game and whilst it wasn't enough I was very pleased with my Theoden.
