I went for Decalogus because of an excellent (first?) entry, effective highlights with smooth natural tones and good judgment of basing

I thought I was going to vote for Gene Parmesan until I saw the close up of Cuchulian’s Dwalin. I still voted for Gene in the end though.

I went with Gene. The challenge of painting regular troops whose models are not that highly detailed to that level is very impressive.
Side-note: I need a new camera lol and to work on my photography, a lot of the facial details I feel are lost in my pics

Decided to be diplomatic this month and vote for someone else! Decolagus gets it for me. Subtlety and muted tones always do it for me. The detail stands out well once I had a close look. Kind of want those models now.

Love every single submitted model, however I voted for Gene because he is the reason I went out and bought Dwarf stuff today. Lovely stuff.

For me it was between Dr G., Gene & Eruainon.
I eventually went for Eruainon, though, because it is superbly painted and you don't often see a mithril miniature in these challenges :D
Well Done All :yay:

Another tough one - I end up scrolling up and down and up and down.... you get dizzy doing that for long enough. Very well done to all of you!

Tough one these but out of my top three I went for Decalogus due to the cracking paint scheme used.

Tough to call this month. High standards all round. In the end I had to go for Crucifer's Gloin. Exquisite highlighting of the face, hair and beard.

WOO HOO!!

It has been my goal since joining these painting challenges to improve enough to have somebody vote for me (other than myself). My Gimli finally got me over the line!

That one vote is as good as winning for me!

Thanks :)

I personally think the face you did was in the top 3. A bit more highlighting of the cloth and beard would have secured more votes for you I'm sure. Well done.

Decalogus pips it for me but congratulations to everyone for a great standard. Unlucky Gene, this was one of your better jobs and your showing great improvement.
