This will be a quick post I would just like clarification on some rule combos

1) If I use Celeborn and put him in some Galadhrim with his Lord of Lothlorien rule the entire formation become F7 I was wondering if I had another hero call an Epic Charge whilst in this formation would the entire formation become F9, I know this sounds stupid but someone at my gaming group queried me when I used it and F9 does seem excessively high for normal soldiers (this rule also applies to Theoden as he has a similar rule but for Rohan)

2) If Gimli calls and Epic Rampage and/or Rage (for example the Aragorn + Gimli combo) could he or another hero call a Heroic Fight and if they win the fight charge again whilst still keeping Rage and Rampage activated or would he have to 'reactivate' them with might again

As for the first one, I see no reason why not.

As for the second, it depends on the wording of the rules- if it says that they only remain for the fight, then it is only for the fight. If, however, it is for the remainder of the phase, then it is for the remainder of the phase. If it is neither of the above, then I would ask for someone more knowledgeable about the game then me to answer.

thanks for the answer it just occurred to me using 1 might to call a heroic fight and as you are going to win the fight be able to charge again and repeat the destruction seemed to be a really good deal and good easily shift the battle in your favour (you could easily wipe out two whole formations in on go)

On the Celeborn thing there was something I forgot to ask as the galadhrim are armed with glaives that add +1F and any hero in a formation count as being equipped with the same equipment apart from if they are in a Duel, Celeborn would then have F8 rather than 7 so his Lord of Lothlorion rule would give the entire formation F8 is this right?

I believe that is correct. Make sure it is a large formation.

I am, the first time it occurred to me was late in a game and most if my formations were a few companies down but I plan getting a full 6 companies of Galadhrim with him and Erkenbrand (one of the cheapest Epic charge hero and also great in duels all for 75 points, what more could you ask for) in it then combining it with Gandalf's Blinding Light but I think I might pretend Erkenbrand is an Elf Captain or hero of some description to retain some kind of theme maybe Rumil.

Rumil and Haldir have another brother (can't remember his name off the top of my head, though) if you simply wanted to work in the Erkenbrand profile with theme you could use him.
