My question is...

Do the common companies in a Battlehost count to balance the rare companies for the rest of the army?

for example...

Host of Karna Battlehost with 9 coy's of Haradrim Warriors.
And, 9 coy's of Mahud Warriors as part of the larger "Army".

-Would this satisfy the 1 to 1 ratio common to rare?
-Or, would an additional 9 coy's of common coy's be required?

Appreciate your thoughts.

A Battlehost does not fall under the normal restrictions regarding Common:Rare ratios, nor are the contents of a Battlehost included in the army wide ratio of Common:Rare ratios.

In your example above, you would need an additional 9 companies of Common formations to allow the 9 companies of Rare formations.

The Battlehost is however counted towards the allies allowance if it does not fall under the same parent list as the rest of your force.

I had a feeling that is how it was. Many thanks for your input!
