NO. It is a monster and it doesn't have a command company. The models on it do not fight, they are there as counters for his special rules. This question has been asked a million times.

Ill have to double check when I get home but the reason we wondered was under the description is mentions company so that was a little confusing.

That is the reason why it is confusing. However, the rules do specify that ALL monsters are formations with a single company (p.24 under "Monsters") so that isn't really relevant.

The upshot of the whole argument is that no, they can't. If you and your friends want to play it that way that is fine but if it counts as an infantry company for this purpose it also has to be removed when it suffers half casualties since it doesn't have indomitable, and that Khamumakil is a cool word.

I would tend to agree, I read the long thread on warseer

Interesting topic

too bad folks get so uptight about it, I like to figure things out, not argue, just seems like people get so upset so quick on some posts. :(

95% would say an Epic Hero cannot join a Mumak. I'd go with the Majority.

well,

I emailed GW and got a reply right away to call for questions so I did and I asked if you could put an epic hero with a mumak, and got a resounding

"no you cannot" <chuckle>

so that solves it for me, I was very pleased that they were so quick to answer, they got back to my email in a mere 10 minutes and answered the phone and question right away.

thumbs up to GW on this one.

Ill post it on warseer too.
