____MMMM ____MMMM ____MMMM ____MMMM OO__OOOO OOHHOOOO OOHHOOOO OOHHxxxx __HH M=minas tirith warriors O=Orcs (one formation of two companies and one company fighting the hobbits in the back) H=Hobbits (fighting in the flank of de orc formation x=Dead orcs 1.'-3' flank modifier (received from the hobbits): per company or per formation for the evil player? 2. Rear modifier (for the hobbits, received from the orcs): The good player counts his dice from the hobbits en minas tirith warriors together, but where do we apply de rear modifier, on the dice pool or only at the hobbit formation? 3. Is the second orc company (with the dead orcs) fighting directly because it's attacked by the hobbits in the flank (which means it receives 4 dice instead of 1, without modifiers)? 4. How are the victory points calculated, for each full removed (also the disordered ones) company? Are the heros points als added to the total? Thanks in advance |

1. Per company in contact so all the orcs facing North get it. Its on a company by company basis 2. Only on the Hobbits. 3. Directly, yes. So 4 dice, - 3 Dice, +Battle Skill. 4. Can't help ya. |

4.You calculate each mini as one. Example in a tur 2 elves dies in good side while 12 orc in theother so good side lost 2 elves not even a company but orcs lost one and half company.But you dont number companies but the minis killed themselves. |

This is incorrect. Please provide references if you're answering rules questions. The VP rules are different to each scenario. In case of the Field of Swords scenario, there's been an FAQ that addressed monsters (for example Extremely Hard to Kill counts for 3 points now - to balance an all-Dragon army a bit better). |

So the second company of that formation must fight the hobbits? Yes. (top of page 48, first paragraph) Support can only happen if they are not in base contact with the enemy so they have to fight the Hobbits since they are the only ones in contact. |

Two more quetions: 5) If two formations attack me in the rear, I only receive one time -5 dice. Is this correct? 6) If my formation existing of two companies is attacked in the rear and in the front, only the company in the back receives -5 dice. Is this correct? |

5 - Yes. Its on a company by company basis so each company that's in base contact gets the -5 modifier. Its applied once per company, its simply a question. Although if you are attacked in the rear and flank that may stack... actually I'm not sure if thats the case but I've always stacked them. 6 - Yes. If your support is attacked they get -5 dice and are not considered support anymore since they are fighting directly so calculate the dice. Your front company can fight unhindered. |
