| Post subject: | Lord of the Rings painted figures. |
Attachment: $_272.JPG Attachment: $_27.JPG I found a bunch of these at a garage sale. They are hand painted lor of the rings characters. I am hoping someone can look at the photos and help me with some information. Maybe a website with the different characters, a number for each one or something. And possibly the value. I attached 2 photos (I hope) I have 4 or 5 ore but thought we could start here. Thanks for your help.

Oh, nice. The guys on foot are morrannon orcs. The mounted ones are morgul knights. And the big tall guy is none other than Sauron himself. |

If the knights are metal, you can tell if they have some weight to them, there might be some value there--say $80-$100. If they are plastic they are considerably less ~$20-30. The Orcs in the first picture are a dime a dozen, perhaps as a whole group ~$10-20. The Sauron is likely about the same value. If you go on ebay you can look for similar lots if you are looking to sell them. |
