Hey, Straight to the point, i have a couple of articles, which i was in the proccess of uploading onto TLA, and as it is down now, i was considering subbmitting them here, but before i do, i was looking to see if there was any interest, one article focuses on the new galadrhim elves, and how to convert the swordsmen into spearmen, (both articles are very simple to follow and require little to no skill with tools etc) The second article focuses on converting reavers and easterling spearmen, using just the two sets. so really just looking to see if peopel are intereseted before i submit them. I for one would be very interested, I've always found that the conversion library of the site was lacking (In quantity, certainly not in quality!), so I'd say go right ahead. most of all, most of the members here would not be graced by seeing it on TLA, as they only visit One-Ring. (vice versa the story is the same) |

Submitting articles that you already have (or plan to have, for that matter) in other sites is not an issue, as long as they are your own work. They do need, however, to be up to the stardard that we aim for the Library to be approved. Check the article submission guidelines and the article sumission instructions if you have any doubts about what we aim. |

I think if the article provides inspiration and excitement, then go for it! I personally like the sound of the galadhrim article! |

If the article is about converting minis, you dont really need painted minis. What we will be looking for is a nice idea, a neat job, good and clear progress pictures and some text to go along and explain how things are done, what materials and tools to use, etc. Here's a couple of good examples: http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php ... icle&k=160 http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php ... icle&k=235 Plus, you can always submit... its free! Worst thing it can happen is that it doesnt get approved and you get some feedback about what needs to be changed/improved for your next article. |
