OK, minor glitch with the clock there. Sorry about that Chief! The entries are open until midnight on the 14th now. The system got confused about which midnight it should use, the one between the 13th and the 14th, or the one between the 14th and the 15th. All fixed now.

Regarding the Voting

The will be a small delay with opening the voting up for you all. I had a few bugs that needed fixing but ran out of time - I had planned on getting it working this week, but have been so insanely busy at work, plus a number of family issues that destroyed any hope of spending time on it, and so its not quite there yet. Sorry.

I very much hope the 'family issues' (what a small expression for what often has huge emotional impacts) get sorted out well for you!

Me - and, I am sure everybody else here - doesn't mind at all if the voting starts in 2 or 3 or 6 weeks. As lotr fans we don't mind if things 'take ages' ;-)

Without you the site wouldn't be what it is now, it's a site for hobby/freetime, so nobody should feel pressure here by anybody at any time!

(except the own personal deadlines e.g. backlog painting ;-)

i would just like to say that every one i think has put in a great effort into the awards weather entering it or making it. i think its a shame i didn't get to enter my mini in to the begginers painting awards as i was in devon but next i hope to enter. so best of luck to all that has entered.

I've just popped in to place my votes. Very impressed with the amount of entries and the work gone into each one. Also well done and a big thanks owed to Alan and Brian and the rest of the OR staff for setting it up. Would have loved to enter but havent had time so maybe next one. Good luck to all who entered
