Serin has got the core D&D rules (ver 3.5) for Xmas and is busy creating characters and his game world as we speak Do any of you more experienced miniature guys know if there is a good range of D&D figures available. I've taken a look at the "official" ones and they look a bit odd to me, so I wondered if you knew of any ranges that look a bit better. |

lol, Dagorlad-jnr also got the D&D basic game for Christmas (we had a lovely time 'monster bashing' the other day). I was thinking of using some of the larger and/or more erm 'heroic' LOTR figures (Glorfindel, Imrahil, Rangers, etc), but will look into some of Reaper's fantasy line too - they are great figures and very 'D&D' in flavour. |

Yes it's great isn't it Dag. We are still wading throught the Basic D&D sets. The original and we've still got to do the expansion with the Ice Dragon. I am Jaldis the Cleric. I'm a nutter of course...we can use the figures in these sets as basic figures and perhaps expand on those instead. Also the boards could come in handy too ! |

@Azog - try this link for a range of manufacturers... http://directory.google.com/alpha/Top/G ... facturers/ My faves are Copplestone, Black Tree and Gripping Beast, but it depends on what you want (monsters or heroes?). Happy browsing. |

Think Wizards of the Coast do a Metal set of figures which are quite good, certainly my DM had a set. But we tend to use a range of figures, someone is a halfling and the Frodo model does just great. Others come from D&D Metal range, GW Mordheim and Reaper. mm maybe he's back from Oz soo we can start up again, think its time t dust off Nygyll's Clerical spell list, gotta love Divine Power, but can't wait to get Rightgeous Might |
