This campaign is exactly the sort of sustained engaging and entertaining activity that all gamers aspire to. The 'view from the bunker' image is a marvellous touch - getting into the midst of the action.
Alternative history campaigns are sometimes frowned upon by self-styled purists, yet it is the exploration of what might have happened if circumstances, decisions or outcomes had been even slightly different that can illuminate how often battles and wars can turn on the smallest event.
