Hi, my current project is the Scouring of the Shire! I plan to have all the minis ready and painted up for the Tabletop convention organized by the German tabletop-hdr.de Forum in January 2015! So here's my progress so far, more minis to follow: First up an atmospheric shot a new trend in the german wargaming community which mo adds a lot to the pictures and captures the spirit of Middleearth even better: Then some pics showing more detail of the actual paintjobs: I have finished another hobbit militia with axe (as can be seen in the first pic) and am currently working on a ruffian (almost finished) as well as some nice terrain (more very soon!). Follow the jomada Team on Facebook for more WIP shots as well as other cool stuff! Cheers, Marc |

Great painting Marc. Love the atmospheric shots. Wish i had the time and skill to be able to incorporate these types of pictures into my own finished pieces. |

Beautiful!!!! The models of "Scouring of the Shire" are probably the best of all ones not coming straight from the movies. Great stuff there! |

Some of the best sculpts in the range, you'll no doubt enjoy painting them. Excellent work so far! |

Hi guys! Thanks very much for the great feedback Here's another update: And to justify the 'WIP' Status of this thread: I think tomorrow I can start painting this one-looking forward to it! Let me know what you guys think! Especially on the terrain piece as I'm definitely no 'pro' here Cheers, Marc |

Thanks guys! @Oldman Willow: I sculpted the Chimney with Magic Sculpt first by adding blobs of putty to give it this rustic look. These blobs were then shaped with a sculpting tool to give a more stone like texture. After curing a made a mold with 2 component silicone and cast it in plaster. Then I carved the brickwork in the upper sechtion of the chimney. Same method for the doorframe. I still have the molds if you are interested |

Hi oneringers, Daniel (HVM) joined me in Paris for a four-day weekend full of hobby stuff. We worked together on what is now a group project and finished some miniatures and I also completed a first hobbit house (see WIP shots in the first post!). Hobbits defending the Shire Bandobras Took in the Battle of Greenfields Ruffians Battle of Greenfields Guards I hope you like it! Cheers, Marc & Daniel |

The painting on these is fantastic and not to be forgotten but I think the thing in need of compliment the most is easily the photography. Some fantastic shots here that really compliment bother the painting and the scenery. Great job. |
