Hi, I'm new to this site. I'm David, I'm 13. My brother posts here, his name is Gene Parmesan. Here are some models I'm working on with his help. I hope you like my work.

Welcome to the One Ring. These are not bad at all although this is hardly a surprise as you have a good teacher.

You have your faces perfectly set as they are to attempt painting the eyes on the model, try 2 tiny dots of pure white in each eye socket, don't worry if you mess it up s it can be sorted quickly and easily just paint the mistake out with doombull brown (old dark flesh) and then try again once dry. it gets easier the more you do it. Great work already!

First off, welcome! :D

Secondly, your work is looking quite good so far. You have the highlights in the right places, so that's good! I think the next step would be to add more intermediary stages into your painting. A.K.A. add more layers, as right now the difference between the highlight and the base colour is too large. Hope that helps.... :)

*Edit....I was also going to mention that another thing you could attempt to do to increase your skill is adding eyes. DMS' advise is good on that front.

These are better than my efforts when I started at age 27! Have you been painting long?

For a 13 yr old you've made a great start, nice work indeed.
I want to see you trying some eyes, paint them first on a figure, do the White, add a dot of black for the pupil then outline the eye in a mid brown colour. Then do the face - simple 8)
