At last I have painted two more Hobbit's Goblins with a different color scheme...
And now I'm satisfied with them.

On the left the older one, and in the center and on the right the new Goblins, and more in my blog.

I hope you like the news more than the first one like me.

And comments are welcome as always.

The most important thing is that you are happy with them yourself, but although the previous version worked surprisingly well, these are certainly more to my liking as well.

The new goblins compliment the older scheme well so you have a win win situation here. Awesome painting as ever.

Nice work, especially the bases. The middle goblin above is definitely my favourite.

Is the one to the far let the one you did before, exactly? From this distance, along with the others, I don't mind it at all. The others are definitely a more normal/classic paint scheme, but I think mixing in a few of the yellow guys into the hoard could work very well to get some variety and make it a bit more visually interesting.

Yes, it's the same.
At last I haven't repainted that one...

Very cool. Must have taken a few hours to get all the bases kitted out!

I like the new scheme, the old one was patchy but I think the colors were still great and that guy still looks cool with the others. With all the scenic bases it sure makes the group more chaotic, very cool.

Thanks for comments, I have at last 15 goblins started and I must finish them soon, but I have started another one project for the February Challenge, a company of Mordor's Uruk-hais...

Image

This evening I'll start converting them and reading them for the base coat...

Great to see you back in the challenges Karavatis. Your painting and conversions are always fantastic.

The way you've based the Goblins is ingenious and I like how you've blended in the alt sculpts with GW's.

Thanks for the comments, I'm so happy you think they're ok.

Now I'm working in the Mordor's Uruk-hai. I have painted the base color, my color scheme is based in the last Mordor's Uruk-hai I painted a lot of time ago, and they were (and are yet), blue skins, so these are blue too. But these have less clothes than the others, so they seem too much fantasy... at the moment only...

These are the first four I painted a few days ago with base color.

Now I have the nine started and at this moment I'm painting, so this night I hope to up more photos in my blog.

It looks good on them, just don't add white hats or it will be smurfed :)

Interesting colour choice, personally I think it is a little too vivid at the moment and could do with grubbing up but there's no denying they're eye catching.

I think as a base colour the blue could work, interesting to see how this goes.
