Fantastic work as usual. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the base (purely stylistically, I'm just not keen on flowery bases, except on some Elves). The horse looks great too!

All of these pieces are incredibly realistic. How did you do the flowers on Eowyn?

Thanks guys.

The white flowers are Army Painter meadow flowers.

The purple I bought off ebay.

Excellent work, the bases alone are full of life and colour never mind the actual miniatures. I will be watching the space that's for sure :)

Both Thranduils on Elk look great. Eowyn you did an awesome job on her, the cloak free hand is great. You are getting a lot of practice on those cloak free hand designs these days.

It will drop further I think. Tough crowd CMON for Lotr painters.

I wish that those top painters were more constructive instead of casting votes and moving on, even if they cited an article on CMON that they thought would help out. But somebody tosses a 5 at you dropping you average like a rock and you have no idea if he just hated that sculpt, or if he thought something could be better... just nothing. I think this is a high 7 or low 8 for sure, though I am not sure what you could do to make it an 9 without some epic converting or some dramatic duel scene or some ridiculous renaissance painting of Joan of Arc on the cloak, you know that what I mean.
What is more important is the words you posted, "I think it's getting better every time." is all that you need for a score bud.

I really like that Eowyn model. I converted mine to hold a sword as opposed to the spear. It looks far better IMO

Superb work as ever Kev, I've just collected my jaw from the floor after looking at your Thrandy on Elk :yay:
Eowyn looks beautiful but the only thing I would say is that the purple flowers keep drawing my eye away from her (just a personal thing) otherwise another top notch job on the mini and, you being you, the basing.

@Sithious - excellent comment bro I totally agree re. CMON.

The main reason I still use CMON is the added challenge of trying to get pictures in their annual. I managed to get 3 pics in the 2013 annual which i was buzzing about. In your eye 40k lol the Lotr snook in your book :-)

I have been invited to submit pictures to the 2014 annual too but until its release date in Jan 2016 i won't know if they use any or not. good fun.

Next up is Aragorn the king Ft & Mtd. Lol incidentally i have uploaded the mtf version to Cool Mini Or Not for voting. If you would like to register a vote Click Here
Thanks for your continued support :-)

Overboard with the gemstones again lol. Who can tell me how many are on the mtd version?

anyway .. enough waffle - pics

Lovely, smooth painting :yay:

If you don't mind me asking, what's your recipe for that regal red tone?

Nice work. Never bothered much with those models - will get around to them someday.
