Hi Gandlaf, very nice work again! 8)

Sorry to hear about the troll, I hope you'll get it fixed easily. The Fountain court looks very promising, I am looking forward to more progress! A nice addition would be nice fine roots to the branches, that would make it look more realistic and detailed. Just look for very small roots (similar to those on the base of the Haradrim of POW's avatar) and stick them to the end of every branch. Then fix them a bit with hairspray. Painting can (as far as I know) unfrotunately only be done with a spray or airbrush though...

Your diorama is really coming along. I am glad someone is making progress on this.

Still quiet a bit more to do yet, but taking shape.

That looks brilliant, I hope the Troll gets to smash the White Tree, he will forever be the envy of many creatures foul and evil.

Lovely work so far. I'm glad you were able to repair the troll easily. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished! I always find that you do tremendous justice to the miniatures you use and the dioramas you make bring out the very best in them and your own exceptional skills :)

Great work as usual Gandalf, sorry to hear about your 'troll' mishap but looks like you've salvaged it well. Look forward to the completed diorama.

Thanks for all you nice comments, very heart warming. I'm experimenting with a couple of things for the diorama to add some detail but at least it is now on course to be finished. The only snag is here won't be the figures I originally planned. Something to do with trying to sell the house has got in the way.

Another fantastic diorama Gandlaf. I think Prince Imrahil should be waving a white flag next to the white tree though.

Awesome Diorama. Last checked in when you were working on the troll. Came together very well. Your hard work does pay off.

Ha, I saw it and though the Prince would be saying, "I got this." He was a legend in the Battle for the pelinor. The Knights of Dol Amroth are mentioned in Siege of Gondor as holding the gate up until Grond comes forth. But the words are;
"All before the walls on either side of the gate the ground was choked with wreck and the bodies of the slain,"
Yeah, they were no joke. But when the gate is broken the story follows a different direction. But, They are mentioned again in Battle of Pelinor Fields. "East rode the Knights of Dol Amroth driving the enemy before them: Troll men, Variags and orcs that hated the sunlight."
And the prince was in charge from the time of Denethor's death and the coronation of Aragorn. He earned it.
