Just about to vote on your work on CMON Bombur and DMS, one thing I've also noticed about CMON is that lotr/hobbit figures seem to get harsher treatment with the votes also. There is a lot of lotr/hobbit figures on the website between 7.5-8.5 that could easily be 9's in my opinion.

Absolutely spot on with that comment. Lord of the Rings seems very frowned upon on there.

Don't let it get to you Bombur and just keep doing what your doing buddy. P.S I want your dead mumak :)

Wow just finished voting, I have to say Bombur I was so disappointed seeing so much of your work in the 6's that I gave a 10 for every piece. Your painting is awesome it's a shame that they are voted that low but on the positive side you have those amazing pieces in your possession and make a lot of others like myself very jealous! Keep up the great work and keep filling up this thread :)

Ehehehe absolutely :) , although it would not be a fair exchange, the gothmog balrog is phenomenal 8) .

Ps:I do not consider deserving of the 10 but given the average of a few pieces, not even the 3 or 4 that surely I received.

Your work is lovely Bombur, as DMS said some is just downright inspiring.

Didn't realise until recently that us LotR types aren't very well liked amongst the GW community - don't think that helps with CMON ratings. We should build our own Lord of the Ratings system! ;)

These are really nice miniatures beautiful painted! (Especially as they are so small...) I love those hobbit conversions, have you made them? Really unique characters! 8) My only critizism would be that the ruffians look a bit too uniform especially as the one with the cleaver has always a black coat. Some hand swaps would have been nice as well. Nevertheless better than I could do...

Great work on this especially on the grubby appearance you have given them.

You are totally right , i had to do work in the series but i could give a bit of variation for the ruffians .
Yes , the four hobbits ( in italian are guarda contea , not know how to say in english ) are conversion of the militia hobbits.

Hello, here new a piece of the lord of the rings ( wip ), a piece that me piace a lot, although the quality not elevated of some details, unusual color for Rohan but I looked for something various.

Oh dear, it has now got damn good.
The highlighting on the horse is exceptional, brilliant blending as well.
Tell me about that base, is it something you have painted ?
The freehand is very well put together but is also my only critique. In places it looks a little thin, like it could do with a coat or two more, for example the area to the top of the left shoulder.
However this is small detail compared to the overall excellence of the painting.

The design that is on the base is in hand, it's a detail of the painting on the Sistine Chapel :) , for the coat you're right in fact, but that damn cloak made me a little :).
