Nice to see some well painted figures here vs my postings.

That is quite a rescue you did on the Legolas and Gimli piece, how thick was that paint?

I like the base on the standing Khamul, what did you use?

Thank you Mapper!

Hah, yeah, the paint was awfuly thick in some places. Some parts were almost like rubber when I peeled them off.

For the Khamûl-base I used green stuff that I shaped like cobblestones, the other half is just sand from the sea shore.

So just in time for the season I sort of put up my christmas tree here... means, I finally finished the new (and treally awesome!) Treebeard model that I had lying around here since it's release earlier this year.

So, this year was a rather lazy one. Painting wise at least. At least in late October I found the motivation to swing my brushes more often and so I could finish a bunch of heroes - good and evil ones.
I hope you like them:

Haleth and Aldor:

Galadriel as 'Dark Queen'

Frodo and Sam, disguised in Orcish armour

Nicely done.
That version of Grishnákh is a great model.

Thanks robh! Grishnákh is so insanely detailed, it almost paints itself. It was a lot of fun to paint.

Here we go, the last mini that I could finish this year and I am really pleased with how he turned out.

Some truly wonderful work here. I love your take on Treebeard, Grishnakh and Snaga in particular. I really must get around to painting those.

cheers!
Rob

Thank you very much @goblin_king! They all were a joy to paint, but especially treebeard almost painted himself. I was surprised how quickly I could get him done.
