The base of your dragon makes him look much more menacing and threatening. If I ever find a cheap one to buy I'll borrow your idea. (Btw I had found a metal GW Dragon for 25 euros at an independent retailer and I didn't buy him....instead pursuing my stupid Haradrim endeavor)

OK, I understand. I'm always hunting for cheap models too, if I've got the budget left to pay even that (only 100 euro's per half year :( )

Ye i kinda understand the budget thingie. Second handed figs really saved me out lots of money. It's a pain to strip the paint of all the models but in the end, if u got a good deal u could gain more then tripple the money.
Saturday facts, i was like thinking of rounding up my collection slowly. But i am pretty sure if there are still models left in the stand i went last year - i buy some more. There were some nice models there i left because i had enough left to paint. I regret it that i just didn't take them with me. It will be a bad day for my wallet again. I want a lotr patch, for on my cap. Gonna buy one of those minimates if they still have some.. i really hope Tolkienstore is there again.

I actually really like that tiger-warg 8) . Cool idea. I like the bowstrings too 8)

Your pictures seem to be a little over-exposed, you might be able to fix this by taking the pictures from a greater distance (to reduce the flash) and then cropping them on an editing program.

Sculpting corpses/skeletons on bases-excellent work!
Tiger warg: nice idea. You see considerable variation in the fur on animals of the same type - African lions can be all shades from red/brown through to 'white'. Then I thought of cats and domestic dogs, or even wolves. So many colours and pattern possible. Maybe something like the African wild dogs might suit wargs? Or something like snow-leopard for wargs in the mountains? It would be a terrific challenge to paint but the results could be stunning.

Ty mate, don't know if it's really creative to put some paint on a model. But's good for colour studying. Mouth wasn't done yes.
This is the as good as finished product. :)

I've been gone too long and have missed quite a bit of your work! Excellent job on everything from the Sculpted wraith to the fantastic painting of this dragon! 8)

ty for the comments guys.
New project for the sculpting challenge.
Image
I removed one of the legs and resculpted it. I really need to get a good anatomy feeling. The previous one was placed way to high. Now i think i might still have to thicken up some of the other legs. And then i can to sculpt the black drawn parts. Then there is still the hobbit to go for.

No progress on the painting of the gobs so far; but i did sculpt a bit.
Image
It's not in the right position on the base. But it's handy to let it stand between the two pieces of wood i put on it. (Those will form a fence afterwards).
Now back to working on my comic - if i work well i might finish of the linedrawing of p30.
