Hello!

In this topic i will post the progress of my sculpture projects, perhaps some of you remember my others try (two orcs posted in the topic of my mordor army)

Well today i present you another orc  ... i promise that the nexy try will be another subject, primarily for not get stuck on orchish things and test new one (human face for example).

A lot of photo, i like to photograph every stage (almost every, sometime i forget); i took inspiration from various arts in a weta hobbit artbook ad the subject is a gundabad warriors.

edit 28/02/17 Gundabad orc finish!

Shaping up nicely. I'm envious of people who can sculpt.

 Eheh also for me years ago seemed impossible! Surely it's not for everyone but for me it's not about personal skills or talent, it's mostly practice! Speaking about "amateur" level like mine at least. I hope to improve more and more anyway!

Awesome work.

I have been studying the miniature mentor series sculpting. I get a lot of practice using fimo/sculpey clay as it never hardens until you bake it, great for playing with ideas. And using various proxies too. I have made a nice orc and a few dwarves (reproduction is a whole different learning curve though) .
You have a very solid skill base, will be great to see what you make next.

The sculpt is looking mighty fine and much like DMS I can't sculpt anything to save my life, not that I haven't tried but I don't seem to have the right mojo for it.
