I got goblin town for xmas. I have painted my first few, just wondered what your thoughts were

Great Christmas present to get, and we'll painted. You could put a brown wash over the Wood to help blend the lighter paint in.

I'll +1 Harfoot's suggestion of a brown wash - but I'd say give the entire model one to dull them a bit (unless that's just the flash making them look quite bright, in which case just do the wood.) I'd also tidy up the rims of the bases.

Well painted though, and Goblin Town is a cracking Christmas pressie.
