Hi all, I am trying to build a viable white council list, and have run into a minor snag regarding Saruman. The BotFA profile is 20 points more than the Free Peoples profile and switches out terrifying aura for aura of command, loses the option for a horse, and gets to re-roll one dice when casting/resisting (btw is it ok to list these rules on here if they are in a free pdf produced by GW?). Does anyone have any experience as to which profile has worked better for them? Regards Fangorn |

Saruman the Wise is epic. The other one is good, but if you want a great caster, take the more expensive one. |

If you need more mobility and a bit more combat, the old version is really good, but the new version of Saruman is incredibly powerful. His reroll and extra range on his spells is kind of absurd. He's definitely worth it. |
