Hi all, Though I'm not a frequent (or in any way good) SBG player, I've made up a few profiles I really wanted, but didn't find in the rulebooks. C&C appreciated. Eregion and Rivendell Elnaith Points: 20 Move F S D A W C 6”/14 cm 5/3+ 3 5 2 1 5 Wargear: Heavy armour and an armoured Elven Steed. Options: -Banner: 35 points -Elven Blade: 1 point -Lance: 2 points Special Rules: Woodland Creature, Expert Rider. Lothlórien and Mirkwood Mirkwood Outrider (Elf, Cavalry) Points Value: 16 Move F S D A W C 6”/14 cm 5/3+ 3 3 1 1 5 Wargear: An Elven steed. Options: - Banner: 35 points -Elf Bow: 2 points -Elven Blade: 1 point -Lance: 2 points Special Rules: Woodland Creature; Expert Rider: See main rules manual for details Fleetfoot: See the profile for Galadhrim Knights for details. |

I really like them, although I would make a few points changes. The Elnaith is identical to the Galadrim Knight, but with +1 Defense for +2 points. IMO it should be 1 point cheaper and lances should be 1 points like with all other models. Perhaps the Elnaith should have a shield option as well, I don't really think they're worth it for 20 points without a shield. But that's just my opinion |

The Elnaith also have 2 attacks, which is where the extra two points (losing one for losing Fleetfoot) come from. |

I'm not sure 2 points covers that extra attack (though I really like that concept) because given to cavalry it's incredibly effective. Check the cost of a Son of Eorl for comparison. I noticed you gave them a move of 6", but mounted on an elven steed...does that mean they move 12" mounted? |

@Telchar: My bad, sorry. @whafrog: Elnaith doesn't have fleet foot, so 10". |

Hmm, now that I look more closely: Sons of Eorl are faster, have higher D, and higher Strength than your profile. This is only partly countered by the elves' higher fight and courage, but you have given the ability to take a lance...though I'm not sure why the lance is 2 points, for everyone else it's 1 point (see Knights of Dol Amroth). I'd say you're pretty close, give it a base of 21 points, but offer a 1 point lance, and a shield option. BTW, it looks like a LoME profile, because with the new warbands, banners are 25 points no matter who carries them (orc, goblin, man, or elf). |

It's based on the MOM book, which is why I don't have any of the Men profiles . I hadn't even noticed lances were 1 point. I'll adopt the changes you suggested, thanks. |
