Hi guys :)

Some of you may have seen my 300pt Mordor army review in the army list section, and I must say it's got me thinking about tactics, schemings, and so on, and which is best for a Mordor army...

SO here's your chance to say what you think is best! :) If you play Mordor (doesn't matter which particular part, i'm just assuming you make alliances), which type of army do you generally find works best as an ''against all comers'' list?

for e.g. :-
. Swarms of orcs
. mixture of orcs and morannons (or equivalents)
. Pure Morannons

etc...

+1.

The 1/3 Morannon shield, 1/3 Orc Spear, 1/3 Tracker (either warg or not) is the most standard and efficient competitive based combination of troops for any Mordor army. As points go higher you add in Shadow Lord (usually on Fell Beast if points are 700+), Drum and Spider Queen. For cavalry you either take Trackers on Wargs or ally in Serpent Riders because they're the best cavalry in the game.

Oh and Mordor following the above won the 2009 and 2010 UKGTs ;)
