Hi :)
I've a game against my friend this weekend. He plays Gondor and I play Galadhrim. It's 500 pts. I usually play elves w/glaives, elves w/spear and elves w/bow. And either Haldir and a Captain or Aragorn. He plays Boromir of White Tower, warriors of Gonder w/spear and shield, rangers, and guards of the fountain court. Any help or advice on how to beat him?
Thanks

First, he can't take rangers unless he has a hero from the Ithilien list to ally with. And if he does that, they can't all shoot. So his choices are WoMT with bows, or allying Boromir into an Ithilien list. (Maybe he has an Ithilien hero already, but you didn't mention it so I'm assuming not.)

Second, Boromir is expensive, so your numbers might be pretty close to his, unless you take Aragorn. You might even consider dropping the second hero altogether and just take Haldir. This gives you more numbers, and since even your warriors will outclass everyone but Boromir you should be able to eat them up. Keep Haldir away from Boromir, and try to feed Boromir one lonely warrior at a time to keep him busy.

Third, you said you're using Galadhrim, so you might give your spears some shields. The D5 front means 1/2 as many will die from S2 bows while you charge into combat. A lot of people also give their bowmen spears, so that once the shooting opportunities are gone they can provide support. If you drop the second hero you'll have enough points to maximize equipment.

If you're using Wood Elves instead you'll want to give throwing daggers, at least to the glaives.

Just some thoughts, let us know how it goes!

Galadhrim Court gaurd + Wood elf spears + Sheild wall = win
Win + Cast blinding Light = Epic win vs Trebuchet.

I'm going this way against Gondor this coming Saturday night:
Galadriel, Protectress 125
6 GCG 72
8 WE Spears/throwing weapons 80
11 Galadhrim w/ bows 80
1 Banner w/ Sheild 43
7 Galadhrim w/ Sheilds and Glaives 100

500 points 34 units - 11 shots/turn - 3 might

(I know, I know. The sheilds should have spears but... dems d' breaks.)
