What do you think of Khandish units pros and cons, both foot and mounted?

Newbie, get your facts straight. :P

Only the mercenaries don't show up on a one, he's talking about khand in general, and their courage isn't that low IIRC.

They have cheap cavalry, and chariots. and they look cool. :)

Sorry guys, what are the mercenaries? are they a type of Khandish troops.
And what's with the "don't show up on one"?

Also the description on GW's site say that warriors are "as skilled at fighting on horseback as they are at fighting on foot". Does that mean any special rule or something.

I read some about them on GW in articles and lists but things are still not clear. are they worth it?
And what's with the banner on their backs, are they all work as a banner bearers.

Chariots in particular seem very attractive with their 6D and 3W they can give to the rider. Plus they can make full move and still fire their bows and work as monestrous creaturea knocking the normal mounts to the ground. But are they Terrifying?

You'll need the Shadow in the East supplement. Basically, they're cheaper versions of normal Khandish troops, but before you deploy you have to roll to see if they even show up!

No, nothing special. It's like goblins have "dirty rusty armour" and elves have "fine well-craft armour", but you still only get +1D for either.

Just for flavour.

More flavour, tasty, but empty calories. IMHO, the Khandish troops should have a special rule for shooting from horseback while moving at full speed. Maybe make the shoot score 5+ if they do that, or make the range only 8"/20cm. Kind of like the Mongols or Parthians.
