Post subject: | A Cavalry Tactic |
Last game I used cavalry charges mainly to knock down models, and that's by charging then using shielding in Fight to double my chances. Each cavalry had 4 dice to roll this way and no attacks, but the losing model gets knocked down and that's a mission acomplished for me with hopes to win priority the following turn. I think this is legal, but I thought to double-check with you. So let me know what you think. |

Aha, you double posted this. ![]() Anyway, that actually is NOT legal, because mounted units can't utilize shielding. Says so in the rulebook, either under the rules for shielding or rules for cavalry. Sorry. Good tactic/idea, but unfortunately you can't do it. :[ |

Glad I could help. ;] I've made mistakes like that, too. I played a game where I had Citadel Guard with Longbows and spears, and didn't realize that you couldn't shoot and support in the same turn until a few weeks after the match. Whoops. ![]() |
