WotR what to do?

so basically I was thinking that if I will play the game one day then I started seperating my Orcs into 8´s groups...as there are 50 of them to maximise the ffect of using as much as possible I came up with the following list...

#1 command company
-1x Orc cap.
-1x Orc Drum
-1x Orc Ban
-1x Orc Shaman
-1x Orc Taskmaster
-2x Orc w/shields
-1x Orc w/spear

#2 Company (shields)

-5x Orc w/shiels
-1x Orc w/ 2h weap
-1x Orc w/spear
-1x Orc w/bow

#3Company (shields)

-5x Orc w/shields
-1x orc w/2h weap.
-1x Orc w/spear
-1x Orc w/bow

#4Company(shields)

-8x Orc w/shields

#6Company(spear)

-8x Orc w/spear

#7Company(2H weap)
-8x Orc w/2H weap.

#8Company (bows)
-8x Orc w/orc bow

-So my question is , "Is such kind of mixing weapons aloowed, as there are clearly mre shields than any other weapons in the shield formation and etc.?"

-Well also I was wondering Is Necromancer any good in this game and also I do have 2 castellans and was wandring whether they do pay off in this game or not???

I DONT want to know the exact rules but I just want to get a picture of how do thy function n thw whole picture :rofl:

Well, you have the eights down, but not the composition. :shock:

Company: Group of 8 models
Formation: Group of Companies

First, All the models in the formation (including each of the companies that make up the formation) are equipped with the same weapons and wargear.

Second, your command company only needs 1 captain, 1 banner and 1 shaman - you can never have more than one of each in one formation.

You can use models that have different wargear than that of what the unit has, but it has to be extremely clear what the unit is. (This usually involves placing the correct models in front to avoid confusion)

So with your 50 orcs:
( I am assuming you bought 2 boxes)

4 companies of orcs + Captain + banner + Shaman
3 companies of orcs + taskmaster + drummer
1 company of orcs w. bow

nope actually I got the painting set with 12 orc and then I got the 2 boxes of regular orcs :rofl:

heh okey I get the picture some what... But what aout the Necro and the Castellans?

Can't vouch for the Castellans, nor The Necromancer personally, but magic is pretty overpowered in WoTR. I'm sure he's ridiculous.

Castellans are an Infantry unit, so you need a minimum of 8 to use them.

If you mean Upgrade, then, still no.

They are an Infantry Formation that, IIRC can consist of 1-3 companies.

and yes I did mean upgrade...Like the Hasharin...

Damn if they wount get rid of the "Will of the Necromancer" special rules seconf part then Im defenitly going to put them back on the shelf to collect dust again, pitty though, so cool minis and no way to use em...

No wait they will make an Exelent Numenorean Marshals :lol:

They do look similar wiht the BNs :rofl:

I know what you mean, I have 6 that I've never used, so thankfully I'll only need one more blister (there were 3 in the packs I got), but nice idea about the BN Marshal!

Yes, 1-3 companies in a formation and they are a Legendary Formation, so you can only have 1 formation of them in your force.

-Resiliance maybe 2?
Thern whay have terror and solid courage

BUT THEY F***ING LOSE THEIR WILL WHEN THEY FIGHT---

Really They would be one of my Favourite minis fi they didn´t lose will when they fight and then also they woud then pay off gor their points

Hey guys I got wondering like are the Dead regular or special units?

And another question is...

can I add in Legolas and Gimli to a Dead Company...assuming that they stay within the 25% limit of allies :rofl:
