Would the use of fury grant victory points in the Lords of Battle scenario? |

Hmm, I personally would say yes about the VP. In the Lords of Battle scenario, it reads "expends a Fate point", and the Fury reads "receive a special Fate" which they then spend. Now I could also see someone arguing that since the fate isn't a "point spent" per say, that it doesn't award a VP. So I think it boils down to talking with your opponent and coming to a personal agreement before the start of the game. |

A wound saved by fury won't concede a VP. However, wounds regained by the renew spell will still count towards VPs. For example, Aragorn suffers 3 wounds and passes 1 fate. So he is left with 1W and no fate. If elrond casts renew on him and gives him back 2 wounds, the 2vps already gained for wounding him twice still count, despite Aragorn now having full wounds. And yes, if you wound Aragorn 3 more times, you'll get 3 more vps. I hope that made sense... |

Other possibilities are covered by the FAQ as well, the reply also answering what does and what doesn't count as Fate: Q: In the Lords of Battle scenario, do Wounds prevented due to special rules or wargear (such as Malbeth the Seerʼs Gift of Foresight or Durin's Crown of Kings), as well as the Undying/Castellans of Dol Guldur/Necromancer's way of spending Fate points award Victory Points? (107) A: No – only Fate points expended from a Heroʼs profile award Victory Points. |

I didn't have the FAQ with me during the scenario but that clears it up. Thanks! |
