Does anyone know if this is a mistake and Easterling archer Captains have the wrong fight value and courage. Every other captain, even other archer captains have +1 Fight & +1 Courage over normal troops, but they have the same fight as normal archers and +2 courage?

What profile are you referring to? I'm not aware of any specific "archer captains", just captains.

I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a mistake...

I was sure it was, but ic could be that because you're not expected to charge in with them, their heroes aren't as good. Although why on earth archers can have banners is beyond me.

Everyone I have heard assumes it is a typo and the values are reversed. Whether you want to play with the (assumed) corrected values or play as it is written is up to you and your group though.

T think it makes more sense for the assumed values.

Why shouldn't they? Banners are flown to show the general what unit is where on the battlefield, why would archers be any different?

Well, yeah, but that's only the case in real life. In WotR banners have a completely different role; no one fields banners just to identify their formations.

Ahh, thats a totally different querry, you just asked why they can and there is no reason why they can't. It's up to the players if they take them or not for the game.

And most people probably won't, and as for Easterling Archers, there is theme to their command options as they can't have Dragon Knights.
