Regain fate point?

When a hero is wounded and get a full recovery, does he also regain his fate point?

Thanks

Yes.

At the end of each scenario a Hero's might, will and fate points are all restored if the Hero survived.

Hope this helps.

I had upgrade a warrior of minas tirith with bow and shield to a hero. Nothing changes except the extra fate point and that this model can gain experience.

Next I bought a horse for this upgraded warrior (=hero). What happens with the bow and the shield (knights of minas tirith default has a lance).
Must I buy the shield again and is the bow automatically replaced by the lance?

From my understanding, the horse would simply count as an additional item of wargear that you are purchasing for your hero, so your hero would now have a bow, shield, and horse. If you wanted him to have a lance, you would need to purchase this seperately.

Note that if a warrior were promoted to another type of warrior, you would replace their wargear with the wargear of the person they are being promoted to.

I hope this clarifies things.

I'm/was only doubting because a knight with bow doesn't exits.
I understand what you mean. So I have to convert a knight...

Is there a FAQ about battle companies?

Found it in the rules:

'Warriors may be armed with any equipment
available to them in their entry section in
The Return of The King and Siege of
Gondor rules manuals. Heroes are not bound
by this and may make any purchases their
race’s Equipment Options allow.'
