Hey guys, are eagles bases the same as a fell beast. And how does combat work?

Since theyre flying, can you charge them as a regular orc?

Combat works as per usual. Flying models are assumed to land after movement so can be charged as usual. And yes, eagle bases are 60mm like the fellbeast ones.

They are 65mm exactly. Monster Bases used to be 60mm a long time ago but GW changed it later on without changing it on their site.
Found it out after making 10 custom Monster bases only to find out they were smaller than the normal ones!

Can they move over objects as far as "the crow(/eagle) flies" or do they have to take the 3D axis of distance into account for their movement to?

For instance if a very large wall is exactly their maximum move distance away, can they just land on it? Or do they need take into account the height of the wall too, in which case they probably wouldn't have the move distance available to land on it that turn.

Movement is in 2D. As someone else explained once, there aren't really any flying models in this game, just models that can hop very far...
