NOOB question...

Just wrapping my head around the rules using efgt...when you have say for example... two goblins attacking gloin... you roll a dice for each goblin to wound i am right in saying that right ???? ... so when more the one model attacks another you roll a dice for each model (you duel 1st loser moves back an inch then the winning models strike),,,, i am right in saying that ..right ?

You are right. So for example, Gloin gets attacked by two goblins. The goblins have one attack each, but they culmalate to two. Gloin has three attacks (good on him), so you roll the three for Gloun and two for the goblins and see who wins. The losers back away 2cm and the winner makes the strike.

Hope that all makes sense :-D

Hi, have you considered subscribing to the Great British Hobbit League on youtube? they do battle reports and other fun things - watching a couple of low points games being played might help you get a better grasp of things than just from the books, and there's some talk of a beginners orientated series coming up at some point.

I know I always have to actually play a game, or watch it being played to learn it - when I look at the books it all just blurs into a big pile of words and leaves me feeling quite dizzy. :D
