PS which is the best way to get rid of the glue i left it in Detol etc it work but some of it remains i tried to burn it and part of the stick literally dissolved that something i should repair by some green stuff is there an eaiser way and maybe less damaging |

One good way is NOT to paint white....... lol, use a shade colour ie. Grey or a light blue then progressively dry brush to the white, this way all your shading and highlighting is pretty much done!!!! Not the best technique but it works well to a gaming standard. |

You always want an undercoat. Most people use black, but you can use white, and in this case it's probably better. Whichever you pick for the undercoat, then paint the horse grey or light glue as ste271276 suggested. Actual "white" should only be for the highest of highlights. |

Yup thats what I meant. Under coat in white, then give a nice even coat of pale blue or grey and highlight lighter and lighter up to pure white final highlights. |

optional. depends how your drybrushes look on your base colour. Id say just make the call whilst you go. If you wash you will probably need more highlights. |
