I've played one skirmish so far so bare with me.
I know you can do an about face for free but can that only be used in your movement phase. For example:
I have Dwarf Rangers with thrown weapons. I have a weakened enemy company in front of me and one behind me.
In the shoot phase I thrown my axes at the front company and they lose hope and are removed. Then in the charge phase I about face and charge the company behind me.
Can I do an about face in the shoot phase? Charge phase?
Your help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

You can only turn around in the move phase, and even if you had turned around in the charge phase, you still wouldn't have been able to charge as you didn't have the target in the arc of sight at the beggining of the phase.

I just read that shooting has to be in the front arc as well so ya once you move, your front arc is set in stone which lines up all your attacks. I'll have to read up on Casting Magic but I would imagine it would be the same criteria, front arc only. Monsters are 360 degrees so they could do it.
Thanks Spuds!
