Our local Hobbycraft have a Lightcraft Compact Flexi Magnifier lamp on offer at the moment. This was in the Sheffield store in the UK. It should be £34.99 but my wife paid £19.99 for it. She bought it for doing her card stuff but I thought it would be ideal for hobby stuff. I've just checked and it is the same price online. I'm not sure if it's a temporary offer as they get ready to get Xmas stock in.

The magnifier is decent and it has a daylight bub so it's relatively cool to the touch and won't melt stuff. The bulb is rated 12W so it's fairly energy saving too.

I thought I would post this as it seems a good deal for the price and those of us with older eyes would find the magnifier useful.

It looks like the product is available in the USA, Australia, the UK and the EU.
