Just thought I'd drop you all a line to let you know that we will be releasing our new plastic box set of Norman Infantry to compliment our existing Norman range. Here are a couple of photos of what will be in the box... The box will contain 44 troops plus 2 casualty markers for £20. Regards, Conquest Games |

They look really good, would be keen to see the sprues. Hopefully lots of bare heads and weapon option ...? |

Some superb models there! As it turns out, it was a receiving a box of Conquest Games Norman Cavalry a couple of months ago that actually got me back into the hobby so it's great to see some more of this range. |

Thank you for the very kind comments everybody. The Norman Infantry are now available for pre-order at our webstore. Official release date will be 8th August, but pre-orders should be sent off a few days in advance of the official release. Our repackaged cavalry - now 15 to a box - will be re-released on the same day. Both boxes will retail at £20 each. We have a few multi-box deals too to make them a little cheaper per unit the more you buy. There are plenty of weapon options (spears, swords and Dane-axes) and there will be the shaved headed options too. There are seven different bodies and seven different heads to give you plenty of scope to make every man in at least a couple of boxes unique (without the weapon and shield variations being taken into account). The parts can be mixed and matched with our Knights too to give even more variety. We have also included a Knight's weapon sprue in the box for added individuality of your footmen. Regards. |

Just found links to the sprues as can't see them on the conquest site http://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/cl...nquest-normans BTW I have no affiliation whatsoever with the above blog !!! Some useful stuff on the sprues, would be good to see some side by side lotr comparisons. Also wondering if the horses would fit lotr cavalry riders |

Here's a comparison pic of Fireforge knights, Conquest Norman and a couple of Swan knights, they all fit together pretty much perfect. The Norman is a bit taller due to the very thick base he has. |
