Dioramas, terrain pieces, even bases for minis can be livened up with the flotsam and jetsam of life. What inn would not have barrels? merchants with sacks of grain and strongboxes full of coin? PJ put a lot of detail into the sets for all 3 films. You can do the same for your minis and dioramas. I have collected a list of some suppliers who make suitable civilians, barrels, wheel- barrows, carts, jars, livestock, candlesticks, ladders, wicker fencing, sacks, chests, pack animals, fences - lots of stuff.
