This is the first brigade of my Cowpens VA Battalion. These are the VA Continentals.
The figures are (of course) my own Kings Mountain Miniatures.
The exceptional painting was done by Aaron from Pensyltucky.
You can see for yourself how he has brought these to life.
The VA flag was an original design by our own Timmo, who graciously took the time to make both VA Battlion flags for me.
I printed them out and furled them. The other flag is either a "Flag Of War" or an Adolfo Ramos product.
The basing was done by me and was difficult to get right. Rather than using individual tufts, I applied static grass over the whole stand at once. I used a combination of 3 different sizes, brands and colors of Winter grass, that I mixed by eye.
This was a challenging project, but I am happy with the results. Enjoy the pix. I'll post the second part in a separate thread.
