hye, I'm pretty new here. Actually I've been lurking around in the shadows of this forum for some years now, but now I'm looking to trade some models I have. the problem is that I have absolutly no idea how I should do this, with posting and packaging and stuff like that. can someone please help me out a little. Thanks in advance.

Hey, Glorfindill.
Basically, you post the minis that you are wanting to trade away, and put up a wish list of things you are wanting. Be sure to use the trade template stickied at the top of this forum. Then, when someone offers you a trade, you work out a fair trade and exchange postal addresses, usually through the PMs to protect privacy. Then, you just package the minis as carefully as possible and send them off. The price of the postage is your cost in the trade, and your trading partner will be paying postage on his end too, so it all evens out.
Just make sure to check the guidelines, again, at the top of this forum.

Thank you, Erunion. What is the best way to package the minis as carefully as possible ? What do you use for it ? I know how easy they can break and I've never send minis via post before.

It really depends on the mini and how fragile I think it is. There have been times when I just wrapped it in paper towel (kitchen roll for you Brits) and put it in a bubble-wrap envelope. This works for most single-piece, metal models. For plastic and other fragile pieces, I try to use a small box with some sort of soft packaging material around it (foam pieces or packing peanuts, etc.)

So for single-piece, metal models you wrap them in paper towel (I'm from belgium) en put in a bubble-wrap envelope. for plastic or fragile pieces it's best to put them in a small box surrounded with, par example, foam pieces or packing peanuts. that's pretty much what I had in mind. Thank you again.
