It's a mighty dwarf army, but in my experience Balin is not as strong as he seems to be. At this Level of Points your Opponent will probably bring the Balrog into battle. He has a lot of wounds, so even two ballistas will not make enough damage to him. First the have to hit, and then unless you roll a 6 for a hit on the spot, your opponent could choose a Goblin instead of the Balrog to take the hit. Maybe you could change one ballista an the shieldbearer for Floi Stonehand and some warriors. Floi could negate one of the Balrog's special rules at critical times, f.i. the free heroic fight. This could be helpful. |

I would agree about the ballista, maybe even take both out. Having played a few games against them recently they never quite seem worth the points. More khazad guard would be my recommendation instead. |
