Solid for the way that harad plays. Harad has no front line, just spear support as for cheaper infantry, so Abrakhan guards for 8pts can fill this line. If you afford to get a lot of them it worths, while in smaller numbers they are good too. Dont care much about d4, with f4 and their deadly ability to wound enemies they will not die easily except if you face elves (f5 + bows). |

Great berserker types. They have burly, I mean Chop! which negates the -1 penalty to 2H weapons. As with all Harad they are very squishy. One tactic I use to protect my elites are to either stick the weak spear support in front during the march to the front line, or stack the front line with half trolls or even non-harad troops like black numenorians. |

My brother mainly plays Harad, and it can be a real pain facing them. He either has half a warband of them behind half trolls, like jdizzy mentioned, or he'll have them supported by serpent guard. Losing a fight to an abrakhan guard supported by a serpent guard means your model is pretty much dead. It makes me cry a little every time. All that to say they are very solid models that do well supported, but can still hold their own without help. Last time I played against them it was The Golden King leading 12 and they just marched right into my flank and chopped it to pieces. |

Love him! 4 attacks each at +1 to wound. He is super fun. And his will effecting ability is awesome!. Wait until your opponent breaks and start "paying" their troops to run away. He is super fun to play! |

If you enjoy smashing your head against the table or sobbing uncontrollably, that's what happens when you face the Golden King. Now imagine getting to use that against somebody. In all seriousness though, he's a fantastic model. His stat line makes him a great troop killer. In my experience, I've found that the best way to use him is to kill as many soldiers as he can per turn, with the #1 priority being breaking your opponents force. Once he has done that, it doesn't matter if he struggles to stand up to the likes of Boromir or Azog in combat. As soon as they roll poorly for courage, his ability can make them run for the hills. It is truly devastating to watch your leader run from battle. |

How fire against them absolutely blows. I've had them shredded with bows. But if they're winning fights they cut through the enemy's lines like nothing else for a model under 10 points. just put them at the front with some basic haradrim spear support. |
