yeh thats the one im using and beat karvag with. but the option of a ballista would be good and king dain is only second to durin in the dwarfs list :rofl:

oh and all hobbits can throw stones so dous that count as part of youre 33% of missile people. im trying to make a hobbit army because like in my title hobbits rule. but i cant for 3 reasons 1 shire cant ally and dont have unamed heros any way. 2 in rulebook gandalf is with hobbits is he in shire army? 3 i cant make one with less than 45 hobbits.

The Hobbit's "Throw Stones" ability does not count towards the 33% bow limit, nor do any other throwing weapons or blowpipes.

The Shire army list does actually have un-named Heroes: the Dunedain.

Gandalf is in the Shire army list, as is Aragorn/Strider, but you can't take either of them for the tournament because they both cost over 150pts.

ye, and since u cant have over 45 models, the shire would be short in points cos they would only have 45 models

which is about 325 pts

Yep...

At the Regionals, one of our opponents was only fielding about 320pts of Goblins, because he didn't have any more models. Not surprisingly, he lost all three all his games... badly. :twisted:

only cos u killed like 5 of my dwarfs before combat, but u put up a good fight :yay:

Karvag, you said in another a thread that you can't use Mauhur for the tournament, because he isn't in LoME. It doesn't matter that he isn't in LoME, as long as you've got his SBG rules you can use him.

I'm pretty sure I'm right. At the regionals one of our opponents was using Thrysdan Wolfbane (or whatever he's called), and at the finals one member of our team is (probably) going to be using Amdur.

10x feral uruk-hai (with Mauhurs raiders special rule) ...130 pts

8x scouts with shild (with Mauhurs raiders special rule) ...80 pts

7x scouts ...56 pts

8x scouts with orc bow ...72 pts

398 pts...........34 models............8 with bows...........2 might

Looks good except you might be a bit heavy on the ferals as your relatively small meat shield won't give that much protection to them.

i just won against my brothers easterlings , he had a troll and khumal the easterling, and the rest was warriors, i thrashed him lol, the ferel uruk-hai were worth it, they killed about 12 people

Woah,

your brother took tonnes of points on command troops. I don't think I would even take Khamul in 400pts. let alone Khamul+ a troll.
