how do you think this would fare against the current meta?

Lindir is too soft and Elrond can't get a horse. Take Gil Galad instead get Saruman the Wise. Also mount Glorfindel. Hope that helps!

It's probably too slow as is. One of the biggest advantages to using all-hero is that you have a poop-tonne of Might to make sure you control the movement phase, but that can only take you so far if you don't have the movement advantage to go with it. So, I would mount everyone that can be mounted and drop the ones who can't. Start from there and see where that takes you.

So how about the following, based on your suggestions:
Saruman the white on horse
Glorfindel (armour of gondolin) on horse
Elrond (Unexpected Journey) on horse with heavy armour
Legolas (Free Peoples) on horse with armour

That works out to about 595 points - all mounted
The reason I don't want to use Gil-Galad is mostly fluffy - as he isn't around at the time of the White Council - he dies even before Saruman arrives in Middle Earth.

Glorfindel and Elrond are your only heavy hitters. If your opponent has just a few bows, you will be in trouble. Maybe you should consider the twins?

I find Elrond to be a tad expensive. Nature's Wrath is nice, but the Twins, Rivendell Knight Captains or Gil Galad will deal WAY more damage.
